The Eclipse Edition of our Calypso all-tube linestage is designed for those who demand unparalleled performance in their music systems. The foundation of the Calypso’s meticulously engineered architecture is our fully balanced and zero-feedback circuitry. At its core, our innovative discrete switched resistor volume control guarantees unmatched sound resolution at every listening level, delivering a musical experience where every detail is not just heard, but felt.
Our Eclipse Edition is upgraded with:
• New .22uF / 600v Stealth coupling capacitors between the gain and output stages for enhanced clarity.
• Four 2uF / 400v coupling capacitors in each channel are replaced with Stealth copper foil 4uF/400v for improved low-frequency response.
• The high-voltage transformer, heater transformer, and high-voltage choke have new isolation mounts to reduce vibration.
• Harmonic Resolutions Systems’ Nimbus Couplers replace standard rubber feet for improved isolation.
• A new power supply with enhanced ventilation and additional damping material at key chassis points to minimize resonance.
• Implementation of a single-point ground system for the transformer cases, which prevents electrical grounding to the chassis and reduces noise.
• Upgraded with a refined power supply for reduced extraneous noise through improved trace routing.
